About Hao-Hsin Ling

Landscape and public space designer with 10+ years of international experience, including projects in the US, Asia, and Europe. Educated at RISD (MLA), I’ve worked in New York City and Amsterdam on everything from design competitions, to public space design at the scale of streets, playgrounds, parks and large-scale urban transformation projects. I take a practical, hands-on approach grounded in curiosity and collaboration—working closely with architects, artists, and urban designers. I believe meaningful design starts with asking the right questions: how do we create spaces that truly resonate? How can designers stay engaged, inspired, and professionally fulfilled? I aim to stay connected to the core of each project while being clear about where I bring the most value. As I continue to grow in my practice, I’m excited to explore emerging tools—including AI and new technologies—and to stay closely linked to my design community.
