About Haoran Li

Graduated from Parsons the New School for Design, during his early years in China and Canada, he developed a creative sensibility that is rooted in a very conceptual romantic design philosophy. Story telling is always essential for his collections. Also, Culture and Art are always inspiriting and bound to his design. His appreciation for art and design evolved after his relocating and studying in New York City. He has a substantial amount background with in the fashion field. Departing from various styling experience for several major publications in China. He also held professional internships at Calvin Klein platinum label, Alexander Wang and Jason Wu while he is majoring fashion design in Parsons. During his years in Parsons, He has been really honored to receive positions in several competitions. He has been featured on the headline of style.com on May 14th as Finalist of Kering x Parsons Empowering Imagination Contest. His strongly natural textile-based graduation collection have also been selected by the Parsons benefit show and highlighted on a number of online medias liketheimpression.com, style.com, and Parsons blog. Saks Fifth Avenue also selected him as one of the designers to showcase their collections during the interior exhibition on their 2nd floor. He was also running as Candidate for both Parsons Designer of the Year and Shoe Polytechnic Sponsorship in 2015. Press wise, He had an one-hour exclusive TV interview on Sinovision to talk about my design path and share experiences with other aspiring minds. Haoran is currently living and working in New York City and he has completed his premiere womenswear collection “Dyes of Shadow”.
