I'm Hardik Joshi, an Engineer in Training (EIT) registered with APEGA, currently exploring opportunities across Canada in the realm of Project Engineering and Project Management. With more than three years of experience in engineering projects, particularly within the domain of power generation products, I've honed my skills in bridging the gap between Production, Engineering, and Parts departments. From coordinating projects from quotation to invoice, to spearheading process improvement initiatives, my responsibilities have encompassed a wide array of tasks. These include creating and updating Engineering Bill of Materials, facilitating production scheduling, generating work packages, sending RFQs and POs, and maintaining dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. I'm proficient in leveraging ERP systems efficiently and am always ready to roll up my sleeves when the situation demands. Academically, I hold a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from the University of Alberta, where I studied in Mechanical Engineering department. Through rigorous coursework and hands-on projects, I've cultivated a robust foundation in Industrial and Engineering Project Management, encompassing areas such as Scheduling, Estimating, Risk management, Cost management, Supply chain management, Quality systems development, Energy auditing, and sustainable operations management. My research project on "Multidisciplinary Knowledge for Engineering Project Managers" provided invaluable insights from industry experts and culminated in the creation of a comprehensive knowledge repository aimed at enhancing project management competencies within multidisciplinary teams. Proficient in a range of software tools including Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel (Basic and Advanced), MATLAB, Word, and PowerPoint, I bring a solid technical skill set to the table. Additionally, my Bachelor's degree in Automobile Engineering equipped me with theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in engineering system design, manufacturing processes, CAD software (such as AutoCAD, Creo, and SolidWorks), technical writing, and standard operating procedures development.
