About Hardip Chera

I am a Dental Student at The Rutgers School of Dental Medicine, and completed my undergraduate education in the field of Biology at Rutgers University in Newark. My life as a resident of Jersey City has acclimated me to being surrounded by diversity, and my internship and leadership roles on my undergraduate campus have boosted my social skills in both face-to-face interaction, and in engaging crowds; because of these experiences, can effectively plan, organize, and market events and fundraisers. These skills are great assets in the field of dentistry. In my time as a dental student, I have developed even further as a professional and have gained invaluable skills. I have learned how to properly empathize and handle patients in a medical setting, how to diagnose and treatment plan patients in a dental setting, and excel in performing treatment. I worked hard to finish my requirements early on in dental school and was able to use my remaining time to focus on improving in areas which I wanted to get better at, as well as focus on areas I enjoy. I have carved out a niche in the areas of prosthodontics and endodontics and want my career focus to shift towards those areas.
