About Haresh Patel

An accomplished program manager with more than 25 years of experience in strategic information for public health programs, data analysis and use to drive programmatic impact, operational research (impact evaluation and feasibility studies), and public health program monitoring and evaluation (M&E) activities, including extension activities in the social development field. More than ten years of experience in HIV/AIDS program data management at state (State AIDS Control Societies [SACS]) and national levels (under the World Health Organization) as an M&E Officer. Experienced with Statistical Analysis System (SAS), STATA, geographic information system (GIS) software (Quantum GIS, MapInfo), Oracle, and Visual Basic. Expertly provides technical support in development of user-defined software and web-based programs, such as PLHIV ART Linkage System (PALS), and Inventory Management System (IMS). Knowledgeable in Strengthening Overall Care for HIV Patients (SOCH) capabilities and functionalities. In-depth understanding of US President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) Monitoring, Evaluation, and Reporting indicators. Patel has independently developed and implemented Continue Quality Improvement (CQI) technics and tools to improve public health programs from the field to the policy level and conducted feasibility and evaluation studies for public health, socioeconomic, market research, and statistical research fields by using advanced statistical techniques. Patel is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
