About Hari Kc

I am a migration scholar with a PhD in Global Governance. My research interrogates the intersections of gender, labour, and mobility within South-South and emerging North-South migration regimes. In my current work, I examine digital nomadism and transnational remote work as evolving forms of North-South mobility and their governance implications. I have taught and published extensively on global migration policy, feminist political economy, and the politics of precarity, and contribute to interdisciplinary research initiatives funded by CERC, SSHRC, and international organizations. My forthcoming monograph draws on multi-sited ethnographic research to theorize the entangled precarities of Nepali women migrant domestic workers in the Gulf.
