I am a results-driven professional with a strong foundation in Accounting and Finance, currently advancing my expertise through an MSc in Information Systems for Business Performance at University College Cork, alongside pursuing ACCA qualifications. My hands-on experience as a Financial Analyst and Billing Analyst has equipped me with exceptional skills in financial analysis, strategic reporting, and decision support, enabling me to contribute effectively to organizational growth. My focus is now on integrating these financial competencies with cutting-edge IT solutions and data-driven strategies to support decision-making and enhance business performance. In addition to my academic and professional accomplishments, I serve as a Postgraduate Tutor at UCC’s Skill Centre and Access Skill Centre. Here, I guide students in Excel, Management Accounting, and Financial Accounting, helping them achieve academic success while refining my own communication, mentorship, and leadership skills. As the elected Class Representative for the MSc ISBP program, I am dedicated to fostering collaboration between students and faculty, representing my peers’ interests, and creating a supportive learning environment. Currently, I am also leading a collaborative project with Dell Technologies, titled "Maximizing Economic Value from AI Investments." This project involves assessing AI solutions such as predictive analytics, chatbots, virtual assistants, and sentiment analysis to determine their economic impact. It focuses on creating a robust framework to evaluate these solutions based on factors like cost, infrastructure, and alignment with departmental goals. The project also aims to provide actionable recommendations by building a roadmap for implementing high-value AI solutions, addressing critical success factors, and defining measurable KPIs to optimize IT operations and drive measurable business impact. I am deeply passionate about leveraging the synergy of finance, technology, and analytics to drive organizational excellence, identify strategic opportunities, and create innovative solutions that yield sustainable success. My ultimate goal is to contribute to organizations by combining my expertise in finance and IT to design impactful strategies that align with their long-term objectives.
