Dr Harjinder Kaur has academic and professional experience and is a monitoring and evaluation (M&E), research, and gender expert. She has • held senior leadership and management positions in UK Government, national and international development NGOs, and the private sector. • worked in Africa, Asia and Europe and on international development, humanitarian and conflict affected country programmes. • worked across a number of areas such as education; gender and social inclusion; employment/ labour market; governance and participation; water, sanitation and hygiene, and migration and trafficking. • presented nationally and internationally and published extensively for academic, policy and practitioner audiences on gender and engaging men and boys for gender equality. • a long-held record of community and professional engagement and been a Board Director and Advisor to a number of NGOs and charities. • won a number of awards for her charity/ public sector work on gender including the British Citizen Award 2019, Rising Star Award in Consulting 2018, and Asian Women Achievement Award 2017. • a MA, MSc, PhD (in gender) and an Executive MBA.
