About Harley Shoemaker

A seasoned insurance professional whose insurance journey began in 1997 in Red Deer, where I secured my AB Broker license. With dedication and drive, I earned my Canadian Accredited Insurance Broker designation in Over the years, I honed my broker skills in Central Alberta, refining my expertise. In 2005, fueled by a shared vision, I co-founded a brokerage in Red Deer, specializing in commercial business solutions for the transportation, oilfield, and construction sectors. Guiding this venture from 2005 to 2011 as a Commercial Account Executive and Shareholder, and from 2012 to 2018 as a Commercial Account Executive and President, I focused on strategic growth and excellence. In 2013, our reach expanded with a new location in Airdrie, solidifying our presence. The journey took a new turn in 2018 when I played a pivotal role in the successful sale of the brokerage, marking the end of a successful chapter. For the next five years, I continued as an Account Executive, fostering relationships and fostering growth. Now, in June 2023, I've embarked on an exciting new phase, joining one of the largest Canadian Owned Brokerages, BFL Canada, to further elevate Central Alberta's insurance landscape. With a passion for collaboration and a penchant for tailored risk management solutions, I am committed to supporting businesses of all kinds.
