I'm working as Senior (Web)Developer at Independer. In a SCRUM team we are developing, maintaining and extending the company's mortgage application site (using AngularJS) and back end software (C#). Before I was working as a senior developer and team lead in the team responsible for the LeadIT lead management application of MMIT. This is a web application used by automotive companies to monitor (after-)sales leads. At Centric I was involved (as software architect / developer and Scrum Master) in a project developing an extension module for municipal tax applications responsible for managing and exchanging WOZ tax data in a formalized way. Before that at Centric, I was involved in a large software migration project of a line of business suite, developed in Delphi. The suite consists of some basic modules, a number of process applications and a workflow module. These applications were becoming of age but their functionality is still widely appreciated. A project was started to upgrade the user interface of this software according to the company style guide. Initially this was done via (semi)automatic conversion of the Delphi sources to C#.Net. Due to the complexity and technical issues we were forced to switch to a manual conversion. In this project I was the architect and technical linchpin between the teams converting the software (offshore) and the Delphi team, testers and functional experts (in house). Currently the project involves two teams one working in The Netherlands and the other in Romania. In an earlier stage even a third team from Belarus/Armania joined in as well. This was a most interesting project because of techniques involved, planning challenges, unusual characteristics of this project and the international cooperation. Also, I got the chance to help establish an offshore site for the company in Iasi, Romania.
