About Harold Smith

As a Software Engineer at Allied Payment Network, I apply my passion for crafting reliable and efficient code to create web-based solutions. I led the design, development, and deployment of a full-stack application that enabled the Implementations department to perform onboardings without the involvement of Engineering, freeing up two full-time software engineers and scaling up the available employees from two to five. I also introduced several tech stacks to increase the testability, security, and quality of the code, as well as the number of team members who can contribute to it. I have mentored junior developers in adopting industry best practices, and conducted hands-on sessions via Help Desk tickets. With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Purdue University, I am committed to continuous learning and improvement. I am always eager to take on new challenges and collaborate with others to deliver innovative and user-friendly products.
