About Harold Williams

As an alumni and current employee of Los Rios Community College District I believe that I have the knowledge and experience necessary to meet the qualifications of this position. I began my career with LRCCD as a student assistant in 2011 at Sacramento City College where I eventually obtained positions as an Office Assistant and Classified Temporary staff member. Upon obtaining my Associates degree in journalism I was capable of utilizing my journalistic skills, in addition to the use of computer technology, to assist with day-to-day operations in the office. During this time I was trained by Nancy Arashiro, the previous EOP & S counseling Clerk II who assisted me with applying my skills to the required position. In addition to working in various departments throughout the campus I gained new experiences that allowed me to tackle a range of administrative tasks and challenges. These duets include but were not limited to greeting visitors, providing guest with orientation information, conducting campus tors, answering phone calls and utilizing office equipment to complete daily tasks. Additional duets consisted of sorting and distributing mail, fling of records, maintaining spreadsheets, providing access to facilities, offices, and buildings, coordinating with campus maintenance, assisting with campus KS Project, and assisting with organization of the office. Currently I am employed as a Clerk at Cosumnes River College with hopes of gaining a permanent full time position where I may apply my skills, in addition to obtaining increased responsibilities.
