About Harriet Norcross-Eppel

I am a licensed attorney in the state of Utah, eligible to obtain admission in any other UBE jurisdiction until July 2027, with nearly three years' experience in Title IX compliance, investigations, and alternative dispute resolution in higher education. I currently work as a personal injury attorney, negotiating settlements, providing empathetic client support, and litigating cases. I hold a Juris Doctor degree from BYU Law School in addition to a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis in print/digital investigative journalism and minors in global women's studies and French.I felt inspired to pursue a law degree thanks to two years spent volunteering for a humanitarian aid program where I supervised construction of teddy bears for refugee children in camps overseas-I wanted access to the tools necessary to give those children a safer, more secure future. Though my career focus has shifted over time, my drive to put my legal skills to good use persists.I am interested in compliance, labor and employment counseling, transactional law, alternative dispute resolution, civil and human rights, peacebuilding, and international development initiatives. In my free time, I enjoy reading poetry, practicing yoga, and lindy hop social dancing.
