I have over 20 years of experience working in the construction industry which has taught me excellent team work skills and allowed me to develop my leadership abilities. In addition, I have eight year experience in the oil industry. I work well in high pressure environments and have excellent planning, problem solving, and communication skills. Since January of 2010 I have worked for the City of Vancouver Sewers Branch. In that time I have worked my way from a construction laborer to a achieving a posted position as a Pipelayer to a Working Foreman who is in charge of mainline civil construction for commercial/residential sewer/water construction. I have gained valuable knowledge and experience in working with and around and installing underground utilities. My leadership role has allowed me to ensure that Work safe BC regulations are enforced and that the City of Vancouver Standard Operating Procedures is followed. I have taken my skills to Fortis BC as a distribution apprentice in metro Vancouver.
