Background
About Harrison Heymann
I recently graduated from the University of Chicago with an undergraduate degree in Economics and Psychology. During my time as a student, I worked 2 internships in addition to a job worked in both a full-time and part-time capacity. Currently, I'm working as a Research Assistant in the Center for Decision Research at the Booth School of Business at Mindworks, the world's first behavioral science discovery center and active lab. I've run a wide variety of behavioral science studies and worked directly with researchers in running their studies through the use of Qualtrics. I've also worked closely with our Assistant Director to prepare decks and one-pagers to explain about Mindworks and help educate people on the research we perform. At my first internship, I worked as an investment analyst intern at Capitalogix. I worked in Excel to back test various trading strategies in the future market, and created a presentation on my findings to present to the rest of the investment team. Additionally, I built out and designed the wireframe of a website interface for investors in the fund to view private documents and schedule meetings. At my second internship, I worked as a data science intern at Fiserv. This was a fully remote position, and I worked directly underneath the Head of Data & Analytics in the Global Business Solutions Division. I researched a number of large banks and direct competitors of Fiserv to help the company better understand its competitors and differential advantages. Outside of work, I've served as the Captain and President of the University of Chicago Club Soccer team, I was the Executive Editor of my high school newspaper, and I'm an Eagle Scout. These experiences have allowed me to develop great writing skills, the ability to manage relationships with a variety of different people, and the tenacity to finish what I've started.
