Working closely with the Tribal Council and Executive director to advance the economic opportunities and navigate difficult financial challenges unique to indian country. I was instrumental in obtaining multiple clean audits and moving into self governance with IHS and BIA. I also served as Interim Executive Director through some difficult political times. I am a founding member of the Oklahoma Tribal Finance Consortium and have served on the board since its formation. We offer semi annual conferences in Oklahoma aimed at advancing Tribal finance and economies in the state of Oklahoma. We put together the Tribal Economic Impact Studies that have been used by Tribes and United for a Oklahoma highlight and quantify the importance and significant economic impact Tribal nations have on the state of Oklahoma. I also set on the board helping design the Tribal Finance and Certificate Program at Oklahoma State University TECHNICAL ABILITY Responsible for the monthly close as well as maintenance of all accounting ledgers including monthly review of all account reconciliations, federal financial reporting 425’s, grant close outs and journal entries. Single audit preparation. Preparation of all financial reports including: • Income Statement • Balance Sheet • Statement of Cash Flows • Year-end financial reports. Provide timely explanations of variances between actual results and forecasts/budgets. Provide corrective action recommendations to management, where necessary. I am a founding member of the Tulsa real estate investors association.
