About Harrison Wicks

I have always valued public service as a fulfilling career path. Growing up with parents that worked in the public sector, I became passionate about helping others in the community at an early age. Today I am an aspiring public administrator, specifically local government management, devoted to finding innovative solutions to the public sectors' most challenging problems. Past professional experience in the public sector includes positions at a metropolitan planning organization, two local governments, and two academic institutions. Past academic experience includes the completion of a Master of Public Administration degree from the University of North Texas. Main areas of interest are local government management, performance measurement and management, urban planning and design, and economic development.
