About Harry Buckley

I have worked within the Asset Management and Maintenance industry for the past 25 years, initially for Oracle and then Exor Corporation and more recently for Bentley Systems. I have worked on projects both within the UK and Ireland, Europe, Africa, Australia and the USA. I have worked on large projects as part of a team and on small to medium projects alone. I have worked with customers such as Norfolk County Council, Warwickshire County Council, Dorset County Council, Lancashire County Council, North Yorkshire County Council, City of York, Worcestershire CC, Wiltshire CC, Portsmouth CC, The Government of Botswana and several states within the USA during my work with Exor Corporation. I have spent the last 11 years with Bentley Systems working on the Highways England IAM IS ( Integrated Asset Management Information System ) as well as supporting the small number of remaining EXOR customers, moving some of the customers form an "On Premise" system to a Bentley Managed Service system. Prior to the acquisition of Exor Corporation Ltd by Bentley Systems I spent 15 years with exor where I was one of the original employees of the company ( No 8 ) working from the inception of the company right through to the acquisition by Bentley Systems. My roles within exor included: Development consultant, Support consultant and finally a Senior Professional Services consultant. I worked in many locations for Exor which included Australia, America, Italy, Greece, Holland and other parts of Europe together with Quatar in the middle east. I have been involved with the design and writing of Oracle software systems. I have implemented systems at customer sites within the UK and overseas and have always tried to maintain a close and effective working relationship with ALL of the customers who I have worked with. I have been involved with many successful implementations and I also enjoy analyzing/problem solving and providing software solutions where and when issues arise. I have written in-house training courses and have provided some technical training both in-house and at customer sites also. I have been really lucky in my working career to have worked with some very, very clever, hard working people. I try to retain a balanced perspective for both work and non-work related activities and in general I tend to treat people as I find them. I have a full, clean driving license and I like to travel from time to time.
