Connecting with people and building positive relationships is my main motivator! After working with undergraduates as an academic advisor for over three years, I found my best work comes from helping them discover their next step and empowering them to develop the skills they need to meet their goals both inside and outside of the classroom. This motivated my transition from the academic advising sphere to career counseling so that I can continue to help students identify, prepare for, and jump head first into their post-undergraduate lives with confidence. When not working, I thoroughly enjoy being active outdoors, be it hiking, running, or biking! I completed my B.A. in English Literature and French at SUNY Geneseo, and my EdM in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies with a concentration in Higher Education Administration at Boston University.
