About Harry Evensen

I have a long and wide experience with Marine Electric installations and equipment. First within electrical installation of new buildings and conversions as an Electrician and Project Manager in Svein Hatvik in Bergen, and later within Diesel and Hybrid Electric Propulsion system. In March 2006 I joined Scandinavian Electric Systems as a Project Manager for Diesel Electric Propulsion systems to the off-shore marked. Rolls Royce acquired in July 2008 all shares in Scandinavian Electric Systems and I continued as a Project Manager in Rolls Royce untill October 2009. In November 2009 I began in Norwegian Electric System as one of the very first employees and with the task of building up a well organized Project Department in paralell to being the only Project Manager the first year and handling all projects for NES. This has included building up an organization, all procedures, reporting, routines, work flow, document handling system, project management system, and general documentation in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001. I was also one of the key persons in building up NES from the very start before NES got the first contract and to be a world leading supplier of Diesel/ Hybrid Electric Propulsion System with Projects and References all over the world. In March 2020 I began in Sales Dept. as Sr. Sales Support Engineer and in 2021 this position was transferred over to Technical dept. and now with the title Sr. System Architect. In this current position I am taking part in the sales phase and discuss and propose solutions for power generation, propulsion, and battery installations on new buildings and conversions. Also making technical documents for the offers we present.
