About Harry Fairman

I am a United States Marine that transitioned into the medical field. I have a true passion for healthcare and building my knowledge of how to treat a patient and manage their health conditions. I have an Emergency Department background. I am an Emergency Department nurse for the last 3 years and have been in the Emergency Department for a total of 6 years. I have also ventured into the Cath lab as an alternative nurse to help with their shortage for 6 months. I carry forward my hard work, initiative, dependability, and dedication in everything I do especially when comes to work. I strive to be the best that I can personally be in the position I am in. I love to learn as well as teach new techniques. I am a certified preceptor of Hospital Corporation of America or HCA for the last 2 years. I have trained over 10 nurses in those two years and I enjoyed being a resource of education. I am also a leader in my unit, although I do not hold the titled the charge nurse, many staff members come to me for guidance or answers and I find it very rewarding that I am seen as a reliable member of a team by my peers. I strive to grow to be better by learning and engulfing myself in learning opportunities so that I can add to my knowledge so that I can grow as a healthcare provider. I am transitioning into the nurse practitioner role so that I can be a provider to patients and elevate my role in the medical field. I strive to be a trustworthy provider for my patients and team members. I will bring all my training, knowledge from my experience from working in the emergency department and my foundation of courage, integrity, honor, and commitment from my Marine Corps background. I am now seeking to join your healthcare team as a nurse practitioner to make a positive contribution to your healthcare team and patients. My skills include emergency medicine, ultrasound IV placement, BLS, PALS, and ACLS.
