About Harry Johnson

Currently working as a Research Assistant (Internship) on the LIFE Trial within UCL’s Neuroscience and Mental Health Group, under the supervision of Professor Jonathan Roiser. I hold a BSc in Psychology (EHU) and an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience (UCL). I am predominantly interested in the following areas: • The neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying the development and maintenance of dissociative symptomatology across diagnoses, specifically depersonalisation / derealisation (DpDr). I am also interested in the factors mediating the relationship between such symptoms and attachment style, and how we may create a better system for capturing and describing dissociative experiences. • How we can develop more practical and effective interventions for adolescent mental health issues, particularly anxiety and depression. • Very broadly, how we can devise better, more ecologically valid, neuropsychological tests.
