About Harry L.
Harry Lim received a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering in 2017 from Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST) in Ulsan, Korea, and a Master's degree in mechanical engineering in 2019 from Stevens Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey, United States. He was an assistant manager in the Department of Factory Automation and Industrial Robots at FANUC Korea Corporation from 2019 to 2021. He also had been involved in the Division of IoT Business Administration, promoting the FIELD System (FANUC's industrial IoT platform) to Korea. Based on his industrial and academic background, he is currently working toward a Ph.D. in industrial engineering at Pohang University of Science and Technology (POSTECH). He is active in the research of the digital twin for the smart factory, which comprises simulation-based manufacturing process optimization, real-time data acquisition & analysis, and distributed intelligence to support the decision-making of each workcell.
