Proven and well-rounded Senior Designer in product development and manufacturing ofAutomotive, Aerospace,Heavy Duty Truck, Marine and Oil & Gas design. Experience designingproducts from concept to product launch and have personally performed each stage of designand manufacturing. Redesigned commercial aircraft seat ( manual armrest and seat back tilt ) to Super First Class lay flat seat ( one button controlled actuator movements from Take Off position to Sleep mode ) that passed 16G certification in under one year, I’ve taken project that were at running at 17% loss due to scrap and reviseddesign and process to create over 50% profit. I’ve taken many projects from concept to final production as design supervisor at GenCorp. I’ve taken Ford Gen 3 roof rail system were they spent $3.5 million in attempt to reduce wind noise by 1.5 db ( only got.5 db) and designed new muckets for A-plr that reduced noise level by 1.5 db at cost of $64K for both right and left production tooling. I revise impellor backing plate on Coke crusher pump form 12 hr manual machining design to 10 minute NC process and wrote the CNC milling program myself
