About Harry Skinner

I am a Transport Planner (Highways Consultant) at Advance Consulting Engineers Ltd and I have 3 years' experience in the transportation and highways consultancy field. I am an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Highways & Transport (AMCIHT). Based in Cornwall, I have experience in producing a range of technical assessment documents to assist clients through the planning stage for a variety of schemes including, residential, commercial, leisure, education and mixed-use developments throughout Cornwall and the south-west. I have assisted in a number of high profile projects throughout the south-west since joining Advance. Following the completion of my MSc in Geographical Information Systems (GIS), my interest for GIS has implemented perfectly into my work, providing high quality GIS plans to emphasise the sustainability for a range of small and large-scale projects. I support our clients' planning applications via AutoCAD in order to produce a range of transportation drawings, including general arrangement and swept path analysis plans. I am currently broadening my skillset in AutoCAD to assist our clients through Section 278 detailed design agreement stage.
