About Harry Stevens

I am currently a postgraduate student studying MA Physical Education and School Sport at Solent University. I graduated with a 2:1 (Second Class [First Division]) in BA(Hons) Sports Coaching and Development. I currently work in the retail sector but aim to take this experience and use it to further aid my coaching and teaching career. I have previously coached football for many years but decided to take some time away to focus on my studies. I am truly interested in becoming a scout or analyst for a professional football club and this is what my next endeavour will be!I am a university American football player at Solent University and have been since 2017. I have also competed in a un-defeated season with the national championship adult team, the Solent Thrashers. All sport is my passion, but there is something different about American football that I hope I can bring into the likes of after school clubs and PE sessions! Whether it’s the fun, fast-paced excitement of scoring the winning touchdown, or the camaraderie of you and your team mates, it’s something I think students and young people can carry with them and transfer into later life
