About Harry Stone

I have previous experience and a proven track record in managing successful events, internal communications and engagement initiatives and in delivering change management and executive administrative assistance. I am currently a PA for the Senior Leadership Team in the Adam Smith Business School at the University of Glasgow (UofG). I worked as an Event Manager in the Careers, Employability & Opportunity department at UofG in 2023: I organised several large events with students which helped University of Glasgow students to identify and achieve their career goals and realise their full potential. In 2014, I graduated with a First Class Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Management from the University of Strathclyde Business School. The professional knowledge and management skills I developed at University have been supplemented with the broad range of experiences I have gained after leaving University. I have witnessed first-hand how different organisations have created and implemented communications, employee engagement, change management and professional development programmes. This experience in the private, public and voluntary sectors has added to my knowledge of what expertise, infrastructure and processes are needed to ensure that these programmes are delivered effectively. At the Strathclyde Business School, I worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Management and as a Business Consultant at the Centre for Corporate Connections. I worked with Dr. Marisa Smith and Prof. David Mackay to complete academic articles on employee engagement (which were printed in leading management journals) and professional development programme materials on leadership and communication.
