About Harry Traystman

A graduate from Queens University of Charlotte with a degree in sports management, minor in business in 2016. Before graduation I was a 3x National Champion Swimmer, 21x All-American, and a State Champion. I have been in athletics, programs, fitness and recreation my entire life. Whether it was little league, national championship meets or maybe growing up with a personal trainer, I knew this was the path I wanted to take. I started down this road by getting my degree in Sports Management and Business Administration from Queens University of Charlotte, while still competing at a high level in swimming. I started coaching with the intent of moving into a general manager, executive Director, or recreation director role. I wanted to see how programs and organizations worked from College to Club to non-profit and allow myself to run them. I have learned a lot through my years of being a competitive swim coach, aquatics director and program director that I truly feel will help me stand above and beyond any other applicant. Whether it's creating nationally recognized programs/clubs or creating member engagement/fundraisers such as a haunted trail with a trunk or treat. I know I have the skills and imagination to implement and create new ways to continue community growth and engagement, while also growing an organization as a whole.
