About Harry Ward

Graduated with a 2.1 in Mining Engineering from the Camborne School of Mines in the UK. I have had experience in working in the service of surface drilling products and techniques and also as an underground development engineer in a narrow vein gold mine in Chile. Experience gained in these two positions have been basic maintenance, surface drilling techniques, in both rotary and tophammer drilling. I have also taken a course in presplitting. In underground mining, I have principally gained experience in designing and supervising the drilling and blasting pattern in an underground tunnel face, assisting in the loading of the blasting holes, and supervising the installation of underground support from pillars to rock bolts and steel mesh. Along with the installation of the mining services (ventilation piping, water channel digging, electric and air cables etc.) Currently working as Sales Support Manager for Surface Drills produced by Sandvik. I help the sales regions apply the correct drill to the mine, and support them in all aspects of the sale, if they require any information, additional engineering on the machines, or quotations, I can provide it. I can speak spanish fluently, and enjoyed the diversity and cultures of different countries.
