I am a dedicated IT professional currently working as a Software Support Consultant, specializing in financial software solutions with strong proficiency in SQL. My career in IT began with a comprehensive IT Support Desk Analyst course, where I developed a solid foundation in ITIL best practices, professional standards, and cybersecurity protocols. In my current role as an Application Support Consultant, I provide 2nd line support for both cloud-based Financial Management Systems (FMS) and legacy AS400-based FMS ERP platforms. I work closely with clients to troubleshoot, resolve, and optimize system performance, using SQL extensively to analyze data, resolve issues, and deliver tailored support. I also act as a lead user for ServiceNow and have experience with CRM such as Salesforce, leveraging these platforms for efficient incident and request management, as well as workflow improvement and reporting. With hands-on experience in both hardware and software support, network monitoring, and security compliance, I bring a holistic approach to maintaining and enhancing IT systems. I’m passionate about leveraging this diverse skill set to ensure seamless performance, robust security, and exceptional support for clients in the financial services sector. Outside of my professional life, I’m an active member of local football communities—supporting Aston Villa FC and Stourbridge FC—and I enjoy casual gaming as a way to unwind and stay connected with technology in a fun and creative way.
