About Harsh Jain

I am Harsh Jain, an enormously passionate and ever-curious CG/VFX artist. I was firm to chose VFX as a career since my school time. My love for filmmaking as a whole kept growing and I made quite a few short films, some of which even got awarded at various film festivals. I was extremely intrigued to know how these surreal yet photoreal worlds get created by VFX artists and to find the answers I scanned through the internet day and night, researched a lot on my own and joined Anibrain School of Media Design, Pune to learn the whole VFX pipeline formally. I got praised a lot from my faculties for my enthusiasm and quick learning ability. I worked as Paint-prep artist at GENER8, Mumbai for 7 months and then after the learning curve became stagnent, moved over to Digital District, Mumbai where I am currently working as a Junior VFX Paint Artist and also take care of some of the compositing work. Apart from possessing good balance of both technical and creative skills, my communicative and teamplayer spirit also acts as a bonus.
