Professional growth is the underlying thirst that drives my maritime acumen. As an astute marine engineer, I hold more than ten years of experience in operating and maintaining marine engines and all auxiliary machinery including generators and hydraulic system. I am specialized in managing engine function testing, power plant maintenance. I have comprehensive knowledge of marine regulations and compliance. I am currently working with Wilhelmsen Ships Services as a Second Engineer Officer handling marine engines. I am able to handle equipment to ensure seaworthiness for voyages. I am proficient in continually monitoring equipment for proper operation and be available at all times for maintenance or repair work as necessary. I work diligently to meet the needs of the company and to become a productive part of the team. I have maintained constant awareness of safety and accident prevention. In times of emergency, I remain in charge of the engineering department devoting special attention to the needs for damage control. In addition, I have been providing support to the chief engineer and managing planned maintenance timetable and periodic inspections of all spaces and systems. To ensure adherence to safety measures, I have provided guidance to the junior staff and maintain a logbook of ship engine operations. I have excellent knowledge of sea vessel operation, engine maintenance and repair to improve seaworthiness and safety procedures.
