I currently oversee finance and commercial strategy for a national manufacturer of joinery and stone benchtops, overseeing two manufacturing plants and a head office in Victoria. Beyond finance, I work with the ELT to enhance stability, efficiency, and long-term success. Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: • Implemented Lean financial processes, reducing inefficiencies and improving reporting speed. • Partnered with manufacturing teams to optimize costing, waste reduction, and productivity improvements. • Benchmarking and performance tracking, enabling better long-term decision-making. • Led change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions to new systems and processes. Human Resources & Workplace Safety: • Partnered with the HR and OH & S Officer to establish company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and a strong organizational culture. IT & Business Systems Strategy: • Work with the IT Systems Manager to develop ERP systems aligned with business needs. • Ensure IT infrastructure reliability, minimizing disruptions and downtime across manufacturing operations. Corporate Finance & M&A Advisory: Prior to my CFO role, I gained extensive experience in corporate finance consulting, providing strategic financial advisory services across a range of industries. • Led buy-side and sell-side transactions, overseeing due diligence, business valuation, and market targeting. Successfully advised on deals ranging from $5m to $100m, ensuring strategic alignment. • Conducted due diligence engagements along with pre-lending reviews across various industries.
