About Harshad Doshi
Harshad Doshi completed his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from VJTI Mumbai in 1974 and Master of Technology in Power Electronics from IIT Bombay in 1976. He worked in the field of automation, speed and power controls for industry and defence applications for over thirty years. Following this, Mr. Doshi got involved in the irradiation industry and was instrumental in setting up Agrosurg Irradiators Pvt. Ltd. which began operation in 2008. Mr. Doshi spearheaded the design, project management, commissioning and set-up of the multi-product irradiation plant in Vasai. As the Managing Director, he has driven the plant operations, dosimetry and regulatory compliance activities for products such as medical supplies, spices and animal feed. Since 2015, Agrosurg has been managing and operating the BARC/BRIT’s Krushak irradiation facility in Lasalgaon. Mr. Doshi has been managing low dose and quarantine applications for fruits and other food products.
