I am a Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Change Agent with over 20 years of experience in HSE management, Operations & Maintenance, Project Management, Construction Safety, and Commissioning of plants and facilities. • Commissioning of more than 200 km polyethylene and 32 km of steel natural gas pipeline network, 250+ industrial customers natural gas metering stations, 5 MMTPA Kochi LNG regasification terminal, and India’s first LNG ship bunkering • Pre-start safety review (PSR) for LNG road tanker loading facility, LNG terminal, CNG stations, Natural Gas pipeline networks, and chlorine dosing system for a municipal water treatment facility • Prepared a contingency plan for transportation of LNG by road tanker in Kerala, India • Occupational hygiene projects, including noise surveys, asbestos abatements, Lead abatement, mould assessment and abatements, indoor air quality assessments, • Implemented various customize e-tools for HSE, including “Suraksha Setu” - BBS observations and incident management, e-work permit-SAP, e-compliance- Legal register, • Developed a robust Process Safety Management (PSM) program, including customized monthly HSE Index audit following CCPS PSM guidelines, • Participated in various HAZOPs, MOCs, and risk assessment including LNG bunker facility, LNG terminal operations at lower nameplate capacity, Boiled Off Gas (BOG) compressor operations, new natural gas CGD network, Ammonia reactor modification, • Improved emergency preparedness by adding 100 numbers of isolation valves in polyethylene network of natural gas pipeline, • Established Emergency Management System and conducted more than ten unannounced mock drills of level-1 and level-2 for the city gas distribution network of natural gas, • Led various mutual aid groups, and participated as an external expert in emergency drills conducted by the Ministry of Labour and district administration, • Assisted and participated in controlling emergencies, including laboratory fire, ammonia tanker leakage (off-site), natural gas pipeline leakages and fires, • Audited an LNG terminal in Gujarat, as a HSE expert in the Oil Industry Safety Directorate (OISD) audit team, • Drafted contents and advice on a safety films for piped natural gas (PNG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) safety for public/customer awareness in Gujarat, a project by the Gujarat Gas Limited and Government of Gujarat. Similarly lead a project of a safety film for Natural gas safety for public awareness in Kerala, a project by the Government of Kerala, Petronet LNG, and GAIL
