About Harshal Kale

Living my purpose each day to improve the lives of people with Hemophilia and other bleeding disorders with World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH). I lead the implementation of WFH flagship program, PACT (Path to Access to Care and Treatment), Hemophilia Treatment Centres (HTC) Twinning, Development Grants focussing on Outreach and Identification in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Maldives, China, Japan, South Korea and Mongolia. I have more than 12 years of full-time work experience in youth capacity building, leadership and organization development, technology processes, business strategy and customer experience. Supplementing this, I have an on-field volunteering experience with a healthcare non-profit, primarily working on personal leadership, education, advocacy and community engagement. Apart from being a software engineer and a Young India Fellow, I hold a certificate in ‘Strategic Management of NGO and Non-profit Organisations’ from the Harris School of Public Policy, UChicago. I also assisted Dr Kenwyn Smith from the University of Pennsylvania, in designing pedagogical modules to teach the leadership and group dynamics course at Ashoka University.
