About Harshal Kasat

I am a 5th (Final year) Integrated Mtech student at ICT Mumbai, Marathwada campus, Jalna, studying Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Food Engineering and Technology. I am interested in exploring new areas of research in Chemical and Food technology to enhance my knowledge and understanding of research activities. I have 1.5+ year of hands-on industrial experience from internships in different sectors of the food industries. During my internships, I gained a strong knowledge of research, New product development, production, and quality control. As a part of my education, I completed a number of projects during my internship tenure, so I am very comfortable working as part of a team and confident in my interpersonal and communication abilities. My experiences have provided me with a better understanding of the professional workplace as well as the ability to overcome obstacles. I'm a responsible, ambitious, and enthusiastic person who aspires to be the best at everything I do. Apart from that, I secured 1st Runner up position in Mondelez Mavins competition, which was organised by Mondelez International among the top 10 food technology institutes in India. Also, among more than applications, I was being shortlisted for an FSSAI internship across all over India. Furthermore, I have completed FSSAI Food Safety Supervisor (Manufacturing) training courses, which included FSMS (HACCP & ISO), FOSTAC, Material Handling, Food Production, and other topics. With significant experience, I'm looking for a challenging work and a responsible role in a dynamic team-oriented company where my extensive knowledge and experience will increase productivity while making a contribution to the success of the company.
