With over 15 years of specialized experience in the Design and Development of cutting-edge engines and powertrains, I’ve built a robust career in delivering innovative, high-performance solutions for both traditional Internal Combustion Engines (ICE) and Electric Mobility (E-Mobility) platforms. My expertise spans the full engine development lifecycle—from initial concept and design to validation and production—always striving to exceed performance, durability, and emission standards.Currently serving as a Senior Lead Engineer at Mahindra & Mahindra, I lead the development of complex projects for two-wheelers (2W) and four-wheelers (4W), ensuring powertrain and engine designs meet stringent industry standards like BS VI, OBD-2.1, OBD-2.2, and Ethanol regulations. I guide teams through challenging technical landscapes, covering new product development (NPD), failure analysis, and value engineering.Key Expertise- Engine Architecture: Designing subsystems such as Valvetrain, Cranktrain, Cylinder Head & Block, Pistons & Rings, while mastering complex internal combustion processes- Powertrain & E-Mobility: Leading development of both ICE and electric powertrains, including packaging, thermal management, and vehicle integration- Emission Controls: Developing emission systems that exceed BS VI standards, ensuring compliance and sustainability- Cooling & Lubrication Systems: Optimising thermal management for efficient engine performance and durability- New Product Development: From paper to prototype, ensuring components meet all specifications, tolerances, and functionality- Advanced Engine Testing: Conducting feasibility, durability analyses, and supplier coordination, while interpreting FEA reports for corrective actions- 3D Design & CAD: Proficient in tools like CATIA V5 R17, Creo, NX-UG, and Ideas-NX, with experience in PLM/PDM tools like Siemens Teamcenter.One of my proudest achievements was supporting the FMSCI in the homologation certification of the X-Pulse 200 Racing Edition, ensuring it met all competitive racing requirements.Beyond my professional work, I’m passionate about biking and travel, continually drawing inspiration from the world around me to push engineering boundaries.
