Harshit has acquired Chartered (CEng & C.WEM) from Institute of Mechanical Engineers(IMechE) & Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (CIWEM), United Kingdom (UK) with total 11+ years of Infrastructure Design experience in water industry executing infrastructure master planning, hydraulic modelling and design projects. He is a Design Engineer, with a broad knowledge on Potable water, Treated sewage effluent, Drainage and Sewerage water. He is currently working with “Stantec” at Brighton, United Kingdom as a Chartered Civil Engineer/Assistant Project Design Lead. His Current Role & Responsibilities : • Managing and Assisting the Senior Project Design Lead (PDL) with the day to day activities, • Coordination amongst the other discipline, Stakeholders with the help of scheduling the meetings as per requirement, • Attending weekly calls for the Survey Coordination, Land access, technical etc, • Leading the Weekly Technical Meeting with Infrastructure team including the preparation of action logs, • Taking responsibility for technical resource allocation, QA and client feedback and ensuring effective communication of any changes. • Assisting the Project Program manager with the tasks and their completion dates, • Design of the Recycled water pipeline, its hydraulics, pipe selection, Tunnel Shafts, etc, • Design of the Reservoir, Mechanical and Electrical components of Pumping Station, P & ID Diagrams • Developing Standard details of various valves, crossing details, etc, • Development of the construction methodology in support with the construction manager, • Preparation of Technical Reports such as Design Basis, Project Description, Concept Design, • Preparing and Reviewing Technical Specifications, • Managing the production and verification of analysis and design, including drawings and reports, relating to projects. • Conducting on-site investigations and analyzing data, • Assessing and identifying the potential risks, materials and costs in-coordination with other • discipline, • Carrying out extensive environmental impact assessments and identifying potential risk factors that can affect project delivery, • Coordination with External parties for data request such as Flood risk assessments, etc. • Assisting other team members where required. • Project Management activities including implementation and scheduling of the project activities, hours analysis of each team/discipline (Actual V/s Projected), • Liaising and assisting the PM to ensure commercial aspects relating to the design team can achieve a successful result.
