About Harshpreet Kaur

As a PGDM-Finance graduate from Institute of Management Studies, YMCA, I pursued my passion for audit and assurance by joining EY as an Advance Associate in September 2020. Within a year, I was promoted to Lead Associate and then to Audit Senior, demonstrating my skills in project management, financial analysis, and data analytics. In my current role, I lead and execute audit engagements for various clients across different industries, applying EY's audit methodology and tools, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. I also collaborate with diverse and talented teams, communicate with internal and external stakeholders, and deliver high-quality audit services that enhance trust and confidence in the capital markets. One of my key achievements as an Audit Senior was leading a large and complex audit project for a multinational corporation, involving multiple jurisdictions, data sources, and audit procedures. Using my certification in data analytics from Institute of Management Studies, YMCA, I leveraged EY's data analytics platform to perform data extraction, transformation, and analysis, resulting in improved audit efficiency, accuracy, and insights. I also managed the audit team, coordinated with the client's management and other auditors, and resolved audit issues and risks in a timely and effective manner. I received positive feedback from the client, the engagement partner, and the team members for my leadership, professionalism, and quality of work. I am motivated by EY's mission of building a better working world, and I strive to continuously develop my professional and personal competencies through learning, feedback, and challenges. My goal is to advance my career in audit and assurance, and to contribute to EY's values of excellence, integrity, and teamwork.
