About Harsimrit Khalsa

Most operational leaders know what needs to happen. The challenge is making it real.I help mission-driven organizations close the gap between vision and execution through building operational systems and infrastructure that actually work. My approach comes from 25 years of navigating complexity: starting as a Labor & Delivery nurse managing high-stakes clinical environments, then translating that systems thinking into scaling nonprofits and leading organizational transformations.I have spent my career stepping into ambiguity and creating clarity- When a 35-year traditional training curriculum needed to go online during the pandemic, I led the transformation that increased global certification rates by 50% across 8 countries- When a portfolio management company needed operational infrastructure built from the ground up, I implemented systems that improved productivity by 80% while achieving $250K in annual cost optimization- When a coaching organization needed to scale from 5 to 25 team members while orchestrating events generating $5M+ each, I built the HR systems and event operations that made it possible. What makes my background different: I understand mission and margin. I have worked at the bedside and in the boardroom. I have built organizations from concept, scaled them through rapid growth, and led them through complex transitions. I know how to professionalize operations without losing soul. I have held nursing licenses in all 50 states and managed compliance across multiple entities. I work with organizations facing these challenges: transitioning leadership, building operational infrastructure, managing rapid growth or strategic contraction, professionalizing board governance, implementing change across distributed teams, or scaling programs without scaling chaos.Currently serving as Director of Operations and Corporate Board Secretary for KIIT Company, overseeing portfolio entities across health, wellness, and environmental sectors. Board member at June's Senior Cat Rescue. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico. I have led distributed teams and organizations remotely for over 25 years and continue to support organizations nationwide in fully remote leadership environments.
