About Hasanbey Ellidokuzoglu

I am retired military officer whose life revolved around “security” and who is now exploring a related frontier called cybersecurity. For decades I have been busy protecting invaluable assets like my homeland, national security and most importantly people’s lives. Now I am transferring my skills and knowledge I have gained over the years into a related area, that is, cybersecurity whose aim is to protect equally valuable assets like personal information, data resources, application in computer systems or networks. A major reason why I have selected cybersecurity as my new profession is that many of the principles, I have mastered throughout my military career are also valid in this field. For instance, the principle of “zero-trust” or “least-privilege” which are at the core of ensuring cybersecurity are also fundamental in the military. So now, I apply the very same or similar principles in in my new field of cybersecurity.
