About Hashina Nagar

With a Financial Services focus, I draw on my diverse and global experience to provide companies with a holistic view on their domestic and international people-related issues across key areas of employment tax, cross-border and international pensions, and reward. I have 10+ years of experience managing largescale global projects for multinational companies in relation to their employment tax and international pension matters, where I advise a wide range of employers, trustees and executives on cross-border and international pension matters. Having joined KPMG’s Global Mobility Services (GMS) practice in 2010 in London, I spent 4 years working on core U.K. tax compliance engagements and then 2 years in the KPMG Employment Tax team. I advise across core employment tax areas, including employee benefits and expenses, equity compensation and termination payments relating to a range of key populations (i.e, self-employed contractors, globally mobile employees, short-term business visitors, and non-resident directors). From 2016 to 2018, I completed a 2-year overseas assignment to the KPMG U.S. Global Reward Services (GRS) group in New York. I worked to build up the GRS practice and help companies navigate the complexities of international and globally mobile employees’ participation in incentive and share-based compensation plans. I also built up expertise in the Reward Consulting space, specifically across executive compensation, long-term incentive design and strategy, job architecture and employee retention risk.
