About Hastika C.

I am a software engineer by training but an AI pioneer by necessity and passion. My journey into machine learning started with a single spark, my final year project, which focused on identifying fraudulent credit card transactions and was subsequently published by That spark lit a fire. When I began my career, I stepped into a role that was new to my country: one of Mauritius' first machine learning engineers. With no established AI community to rely on, I had to teach myself everything from scratch—it was just me and my grit. Having proven I could build my company's AI function from the ground up, I knew the next step was true mastery. To fuse my battle-tested practical skills with formal theoretical rigor, I am now pursuing my Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence. My greatest strength is this unique synthesis: the discipline of a software engineer, the grit of a self-taught pioneer, and the deep knowledge of an AI specialist. My background in cybersecurity and penetration testing informs how I build robust, secure systems today, while my work in quantum computing and transhumanism prepares me for the technology of tomorrow. I don't just build systems; I build the future.
