About Hayden Gutteridge

I am a Future VC Fellow and a Sales Representative at WRS, one of the leading rental management companies in the Whistler area. I have over two years of experience in business development, growth and sales, and end-of-life services, working with innovative and impactful tech-startups and charities. In my current role, I manage owner relations and outbound sales strategies for over 500 properties, creating bookings, resolving issues, and building networks with local businesses. I also developed and introduced a marketing plan for new team members and exceeded ambitious KPI targets within the first three months. Previously, I worked at Guardian Angel, a tech-startup that offers industry-leading services for end-of-life planning. I focused on prospecting, networking, and building partnerships with charities, helping their staff and supporters with bereavement. As a team, we achieved over 20% month-on-month growth, leading to an acquisition by Octopus. I am passionate about the entrepreneurship scene and looking to further my experience in venture capital, learning from the best mentors and masterclasses in Europe. I graduated from Keele University with a dual honours degree in Business Management and Marketing, and completed an international study school in Germany. During my free time, I enjoy playing sports, especially football, cricket, and tennis, and travelling.
