I have a strong, customer focused approach to my work and conscientiously perform tasks assigned to me. I have over 8 years experience in the IT industry specifically in Service Desk and Desktop roles in Australia, New Zealand and the UKFollowing the completion of my Bachelor in 2011, I was employed by Datacom in Wellington, New Zealand where I was a full time employee situated at Parliamentary Services in the Government buildings for over 2 years. I worked as a Service desk/Desktop analyst integrated with Junior Server Support in a highly demanding environment. I dealt with a diverse range of clients including Ministers of the Crown and Members of Parliament and their staff. I serviced these clients on a national and local basis.My other previous employers include Excelior (located on the Gold Coast) and Gen-i New Zealand. In these roles I was responsible for dealing with all corporate customer hardware faults and network problems. I am capable of managing customer enquiries, thinking critically, problem solving and ensuring proper coordination with colleagues and management. I am a team player, have excellent time management skills and can work under pressure to meet deadlines. I have strong communication skills, good computer literacy and have an empathetic phone manner. I consider myself a hard working, committed and responsible individual with a willingness to learn.
