About Hayden Stevenson

As a Power Services Engineer, I specialize in utilizing power system analysis software (primarily EasyPower) to perform short circuit, protective device coordination, and arc flash studies for industrial electrical systems. My role includes developing protective device settings for new low and medium-voltage projects, as well as field data collection for existing equipment to be verified against modern electrical standards. I bring a detail-oriented mindset and a passion for quality to every project, working closely with contractors, technicians, and project managers to deliver accurate, and informative studies. I take real pride in contributing to work that not only meets technical standards but also strengthens the trust and satisfaction of our long-term customers. My background is rooted in electrical engineering, yet my degree is in "Engineering Science." I was fortunate to be a part of this emerging and transformative program/degree at OSU - Cascades, which was quite literally being developed as I was enrolled. It garnished me the opportunity to specialize in electrical engineering and computer science programs while still being involved heavily in industrial and mechanical engineering. No stone was left unturned. Today, I understand myself as an engineer in the purest form; a comprehensive analyzer, utilizing every resource available (and sometimes unavailable), to make informed, effective decisions. I hope to continue the original goal of the EngSci program in its infancy; becoming an engineer who sees the big picture, equipped to work across various engineering disciplines.
