In my role as Company Secretary at Creative Support, a leading national health and social care not-for-profit and housing association, I am dedicated to driving change and championing governance improvements that align with our strategic goals. I work creatively and collaboratively with stakeholders across the organisation to advise the Board of Trustees on governance matters and ensure that we uphold the highest standards of statutory and legal compliance. By leading our risk management strategy, I cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and proactive risk mitigation, empowering the organisation to navigate challenges and deliver exceptional support to our service users. In addition to my role as Company Secretary, I lead Creative Support’s internal audit function, where I manage a dynamic team of auditors committed to driving continuous improvement across our diverse society activities. We work closely with teams at all levels, fostering a spirit of collaboration and openness to ensure compliance, enhance operational effectiveness, and support the organisation’s adaptability in a constantly evolving landscape.
