About Hazel Morrish

I am a recent graduate from Sheffield Hallam University, where I was awarded a First-Class Honours in Product Design. Previously I studied at Leeds College of Art from 2014 to 2016 and obtained a distinction in 3D Design. During my final year at university I also interned at Elite Pro Sports where I am now working as a freelance designer, designing rugby tops and other sports clothing. The projects I have undertaken at university and my placement have allowed me to learn how to use a variety of software such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop and Solidworks. My biggest strength when designing a product is the aspect of model making as I am comfortable using many different materials including foam, wood, plastics and textiles. I really enjoy the process of developing a project from research to initial ideas and sketches to a final outcome. Throughout my university projects I have learned how important each step of the process is and I hope I can take what I have learned into my future career.
