Cyber Security Engineer with 4 years of Tier computer technician experience. I graduated with a bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity from George Mason University in May 2023, and am pursuing my Masters's degree in Cybersecurity remotely. I have an Active Public Trust determination, with Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, and AWS Certified Security-Specialty industry certifications. I have experience in maintaining IT systems for a diverse range of organizations and am proficient in conducting vulnerability assessments and risk analyses aligned with business objectives. I have an understanding of a variety of security technologies, including IDS/IPS, firewalls, and anti-virus solutions. I have an understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements (NIST 800-53, RMF) as well. Utilizing my new skills and degree, my goal is to move from system administration into cyber security technical work.
